lincoln hall bath redesign.
We were excited to work with a young family in Grandview whose household was growing from four to five. Their hall bathroom needed to work harder—supporting busy mornings and shared routines—while still feeling calm, durable, and thoughtfully designed for years to come.
kicking things off
With an existing linen cabinet already in the hallway, we removed the tall vanity cabinet to gain valuable countertop space. To brighten the room, one tub wall was removed and a transom opening added above the wet wall, allowing natural light to move freely through the space.
out with the old, in with the new.
To avoid a space that felt overly playful or temporary, we focused on clean lines and high-contrast materials. The result is a bathroom that feels modern yet timeless — designed to grow with the family rather than be outgrown.
Subtle details bring the design together, including a 12-inch backsplash that protects the walls while maintaining a refined look. The transom opening above the shower adds both light and architectural interest, reinforcing the balance of function and intention throughout the room.
